Chronology of cameras Ihagee
The Ihagee model 4850 (or B model) was the low cost version of the Westentaschen-Auto-Ultrix for 127 rollfilm, and shows in the Ihagee catalogues between 1932 and 1934. From then on only the most expensive model (2850) would be produced. The main differences to the 2850 model are the two-frame non-optical viewfinder, and the shutter and lens combination. The back red window has no cover.
The shutter is an automatic Gauthier Vario, delivering speeds in the range 1/25 to 1/100 plus B and T. The lens is a Ihagee Anastigmat with 70 mm of focal length and maximum aperture of 6.3, and no other combination was possible.
